Flowers, Pain Relief with Essential Oil and Prayer

These are a form of lily from Hawaii, they are so beautiful this picture does not does them justice. This represents How I feel after removing some severe pain from my life .
I hurt my shoulder in October and then I began to have severe back spasms, I had several massages and treatments, it would reduce for a while then return. About 30 days ago I decided to help my husband clear the driveway of ice. Hmmm.. not a good decision. I have a permanently bent spine with a lot of vertebrae missing, but I do my best to keep active, I also cannot stand up unless I am holding onto something. The "something" was a shovel. I cut the ice while my husband ran the snow blower, it was quite effective but took 2 hours. I did not feel any pain or discomfort till 2-3 days later and I had intense back, arm and side spasm which required medication..I had massage, used essential oils, had an acupuncture treatment and maybe 30% continuous relief. I was using the basil herb oil and it helped but it was not until i added Palo Santo, from Young living, that the pain went away. It took 2 days and as long as I use a little oil before going to bed, on the bad area, I am pain free. It is like a miracle. The Palo Santo oil stops the severe spasms. I will put a little blurb about this below. I sell oils from my website but at this time only have 2 items up. As I cannot ship till the end of the month I HAVE REFRAINED from adding more. These oils are absolutely marvelous. Today I received 3 emails from people who had burnt themselves while cooking, and rather severely I may add, they applied the lavender oil and with in 20 minutes pain reduced, 2 days later no sign of burn, one lady had blisters, that were reduced and went away in several days and relived the pain.
until you start experimenting with these oils, you cannot believe how wonderful they are. There are many oils out there that are less expensive, these oils are pure and the crops they come from are raised without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. There is a huge difference. Just imagine the food we eat how contaminated it gets. A drop of lemon oil in the cooking or the water helps remove some of the chemicals we daily come across. It also helps digestion, along with peppermint. Peppermint can settle an upset stomach.
Flowers also give peace and calm as well as there are many used to heal and produce products we need.
Today my husband needed surgery, and much to my amazement the doctor asked if he could pray before the operation, we said certainly. He told us, and yes we already are very aware of this, that praying over a patient helps heal them faster, have less infection and less future problems. This is a subject I will post more on in my website. I have used prayer all my life to get me through the worst times. It certainly does help. 5 hours later my husband has not taken a pain pill and seems quite comfortable. He should be hurting but is not.
One does not have to have a religion to pray, a simple pray of thanksgiving or ask for help, will bring comfort and relief. The "Lords Prayer" is a simple but effective prayer for those who think they cannot pray.
No this is not about religion but about using our own power within to heal. Blessings on you all.

Ducks and Other Things and More on the pH healing

Blogs everywhere and sometimes we just need to have a little story of a personal nature. It is good to share much needed information but today I am going to tell you a story about ducks.

In June, we returned from and extended trip to find "Ducky", the light duck. living in our yard. All the neighbors asked when did you buy a duck? We said we did not buy a duck and had no idea where it came from. Our yard looks over a huge pond, and we have several where we live. It was a young duck.
The duck was lonely and earlier in the spring, the wild geese had hatched a bunch of goslings, 7 in all. The parents of the goslings were teaching them to survive and so "Ducky" latched onto the group but was kept at a distance. When the parents left each day the goslings, who were now rather big and almost full grown geese, would huddle together, they begrudgingly let "Ducky" stay near them but not in the group. One day the now grown geese flew away and there was poor "Ducky" alone again. My husband felt sorry for him so we went to a duck farm and purchased a lovely duck mate. The duck farmer said they do not fly as they as used to staying in his yard with no clipped wings. We brought the duck home and about 1 hour later it flew away. HA! so much for not flying.
At the same time another neighbor has the same idea, she sent her husband to buy ducks and he came back with 3. They lasted about 2 hours and flew away. We never knew where they went. So a few days later we went to the duck farm and asked him to clip the wings of the duck so it would not fly away, He gave us an extra duck. So now there were 3. They did not fly away.
Together our little group fed them a lot of grain and now they are too fat to fly. Unfortunately in this last icy cold spell, the top white and black duck, she passed on. We have no idea why but I think she was caught in the ice. She was the latest addition to our menagerie and was rather young. We made a winter shelter with straw lining it, among the reeds for the ducks and it was working out rather well. Now they hover near our house and will not go back to their little home. I think the ice has something to do with the demise of the young one. They watched us closely as we pullout the deceased duck. They would not leave the area for days. The pond, where their hut is, has ice still so I am hoping when it melts they will return to their little home. We had 3 days of heavy rain and yesterday I saw them all coming toward the house, and figured they were hungry for the grain we fed them. They still have plenty of natural food when the pond is not frozen. So I just walked out and they followed me until I put grain down they gobbled up.
This is an ongoing saga and it will be interesting to see what happens when the geese return to nest.
Now on a different subject, the balancing of the pH is so important to maintain good health. One can use simple remedies like fresh lemon juice in water and purchasing alkaline salts. I use cobalt blue bottles to sit in the sun (Make sure it is not freezing outside or they will break) and use the water to put my lemon juice in. It actually amplifies the healing properties of the pH. I also have discovered that fungus is a major cause of imbalance and will speak on that later.
I hope you are all having a good week and blessings and healing on all.

Keeping the pH Balanced, Aids the Mind and Body, in Keeping its Balance

We have so much to be thankful for. Beautiful flowers, good friends, health improvements. This last week with the Australian and Brazilian floods, the sad consequences of the violence in Arizona, we need to stay balanced and focused and not allow the terrible tragedies, weigh us down. First we should pray for all those affected and ask for help in understanding all that is going on. Do not be FEARFUL. Fear brings on negative emotions.
The pH balance of the body is extremely important in blocking disease and thus affecting our mind. When the pH is out of balance the whole body is on the wrong path. I am convinced if people with mental problems had a balanced PH, it would prove helpful to them. Will it cure them, probably not but it certainly would help them be a little more stable.
What is the pH of the body? It is the balance of acid/Alkaline elements in our blood that help keep us healthy.
Our intestinal tract is full of unfriendly bacteria and if the pH gets out of balance we open ourselves to many diseases. It is normal to have this bacterial in our bodies but it goes haywire when the balance is not kept and disease gets running rampant. The Bacteria and Fungi then start secreting mycotoxins and the next thing you know, you have a whole range of diseases, waiting to take over. It has been said that most diseases have been connected to blood and intestinal infections. When the body becomes acid based, Yeast and Fungus overtake the normal systems.
The normal or ideal body pH is 7.4 to 7.6 and this preserves the alkalinity of the body to keep it in balance. The moment the blood is allowed to become alkaline, your healthy foundation is undermined. We hear so much about Yeast infections, well this is what happens when you get them. You have become acidic and it allows the fungus to grow. It has been stated many times, that a cancer cell is surrounded by Fungus, thus it inhibits the healing substances from
getting to the diseased cell. I will have a lot more on my website about how you can control the body and keep it healthy.
So the next question is how to keep the balance. The food we eat has a great influence on how the pH turns out. The processed and chemical enhanced food is a large part of the cause and also the chemicals in our environment, which I will relate back to this in a later blog.
According to Gary Young, Dr Morton Walker says we should eat 4:1 of Alkaline/Acid foods. That is 4 alkaline foods and 1 Acid. I use Lemon or Lime juice in water for a natural pH balance. WHAT you say. Lemon is acidic till it reaches your stomach and then it turns alkaline, I have often used it as a digestive Aid, before a meal. Post cancer I had a terrible time wanting to eat, so when I was out, I would have them squeeze me the juice of a lemon, drink it straight, then I could eat.
Avoid antibiotics and use ONLY when all other options have failed. These drugs kill off the normal bacteria and then the fungi become rampant. Lower stress and also use Alkaline Salts.
For those who want to keep a list go to this website and print off. REMEMBER TO BOOKMARK THIS PAGE BEFORE YOU LEAVE.
This is an endless subject but it is the basis of what we need do each day to keep us healthy. I constantly wage a war on getting my pH correct. You will be amazed at the results once you try to keep your body balanced. I find my mind is clearer and I am calmer when I have a balanced body. We then can pray for a balanced earth as that is what is happening around us, the elements of earth are out of balances and it takes us all to work on putting it back where it once was. Have a happy and healthy weekend.!!!!

A Bit of Sunshine in our Lives

It has been a dreary winter for many and I am sure, unless you ski, you can't wait for your summer activities. Today I thought we could chat about things that make us happy and healthy.
There are dozens of blogs and lots of information but sometimes we just need to refresh ourselves by doing things we love.
So this week choose an activity or idea, that will take you away from the everyday stress of your life.
I love flowers, most of the ones pictured here are from my garden at various times and places. We have a lovely atrium garden shop with a little cafe, what could be nicer than having a cup of coffee and reading a book and looking at the lovely plants that are there.
We never know what is in store for us and when I visited last week I purchased a beautiful orchid to give life and color. For have been going there for 4 years (it is about 5 years old) and I asked where our favorite person was, Larry, and was told he passed on. Larry was 42 years old, so full of life and light we felt like he belonged to us. I have never seen him grumpy or down, and his smile was fantastic. He welcomed each customer like they were coming into his home. He Died of a cancer that took him in 30 days. Maybe he had it and did not know it or showed no symptoms it snuck up like a thief in the night. What a great loss to our community.
To keep ourselves healthy in troubled times and to keep the stress level down, spend a day in the flowers, take in their energy, watch your diet, give up the sugar for a week, see how much better you feel. Take an hour walk each day. It is recommended that cancer patients exercise daily. Those who are weak can move their arms and legs, those of us who have improved do your best to at least walk. I have a treadmill I try to use daily but not always successful. The times I walk I am 100% better. It is a little cold here to do that at the moment, but if you are younger and dress warmly then it is good for you.
My prayers go out today for healing of you all along with your loved ones. I have some inspirational stories this week from 2 patients who have had wonderful success with their natural supplements. The medical side had done all they could so they switched to natural help and happily they are still having great success.
We welcomed a new baby great niece last night so the world looks more rosy today. May you have a great week and look after yourselves!!!
